Hi, I’m Tanmay Ikare — originally from Barshi, now based in Pune. I’m currently working as an SDET at Helpshift Technologies with over 2 years of experience in building robust and reliable test automation solutions.
In my role, I focus on ensuring product quality through automated testing frameworks, API testing, and efficient test coverage strategies across web and mobile platforms.
Beyond the screen, I enjoy video editing, playing video games, and going on long bike rides — it’s my way of staying creative and adventurous both in and out of work.
SDET (Manual & Automation Testing)
At Helpshift, I work as an SDET focusing on both manual and automation testing. I’ve built a custom automation framework using Java and TestNG to simplify test data creation and streamline API testing. I also manage end-to-end UI and API test suites using tools like Playwright and RestAssured, helping improve overall test coverage and testing efficiency. 🧪💻
My role includes integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, improving the speed and quality of releases. I’ve enhanced test reliability by refactoring scripts, used SonarQube for static code analysis, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to resolve critical issues. I also conduct cross-browser and mobile testing to ensure a smooth and consistent user experience. 🚀🔧📱
